So, I am not a "Theme Person" when it comes to decorating or anything for that matter... However, lately the only Theme that comes to mind is... Christmas. I am not sure if it's because I have worked the last two weeks decorating homes for Christmas or If I am just ready for some down time at the house! Could be that I love to shop, and "Tis the Season". As I sit at the computer on this lazy weekend after Thanksgiving, I am excited about all of the Christmas I can see. Whether it be ordering our family Christmas cards, getting tips on Holiday Baking, peeking at all of the prettiness people display throughout the season or just getting inspiration for my upcoming projects I want to design for myself and other people.
This is what I picture my home at Christmas to be like, if I would have lived in the 60's.
*Note the little dollhouse for Addi, next to the sofa*
The Vintage inspired Christmases seem to make me smile!
The best kind of "Blue Christmas"
*the Champagne is a nice touch!*
This door is super cute! I may have to steal this look with the snowflakes! Love!!!
I am doing one of these trees for my kids.
These Cookies must have taken hours to make, but sure look delicious!
My kitchen table after "Trying" to make this Martha Stewart frost village with kids. I just let em go at it, and the control freak in me was going crazy!!!!
This would be the perfect ~ Simple~ gift!
Would so love my dream home to have this exact Foyer... I like the Garland too!
One of the doors I did last week.
After all the cooking, decorating and shopping, Let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas!
